Two days ago we spent the day in Moretti, a small locality in Piedmont region, Italy. I accompanied my husband to visit his uncle. Our stay was short but reminded me the beauty of countryside living, the healing power of nature, the simple life, slowing down, farm to table eating and the abundance in what might seem like nothingness.
One the many things Roberto loves doing in Nairobi is feeding the Giraffes at The Giraffe Center. For a change, this year I decided to take him to Nairobi Safari Walk because I knew even though Giraffes are his favorite, he will still find excitement seeing other animals and particularly getting closer to them.
